This Privacy Policy describes how İlçe Bulmaca ("the App", "We") collects, uses and discloses Your information when You use the Service, and tells You about Your privacy rights.

By using the App, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Definitions

  • Application / Service refers to İlçe Bulmaca, the Android game published by nispeteng on Google Play (com.nispeteng.ilcebulmaca).
  • Company / We refers to nispeteng (the developer).
  • Country: Turkey.
  • Personal Data: any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
  • Service Provider: any third party that processes data on our behalf (e.g. Firebase, Google AdMob).
  • Usage Data: data collected automatically by the App or its infrastructure.
  • You: the individual using the Service.

Data We Collect

1. Account information (only if You sign in with Google — optional)

If You choose to sign in with Your Google account, the App collects:

  • Your Google account display name
  • Your Google account email address
  • Your Firebase user ID (UID)
  • Your Google profile picture URL (displayed in-app, not stored on our servers)

You can use the App without signing in. Without sign-in, no personal information is collected.

2. Game data (only if You sign in)

When You sign in, Your game history is backed up to Google Cloud Firestore. This includes:

  • Game results (date, mode, score, total questions)
  • Your individual answers per question
  • Region- and province-level statistics derived from Your play

This data is tied to Your Firebase UID and is used to restore Your history when You install the App on another device.

3. Crash and diagnostic data (always collected in release builds)

The App uses Firebase Crashlytics to automatically collect crash reports, including device model, OS version, anonymized session identifiers, and a stack trace of the crash. We use this exclusively to identify and fix bugs. If You are signed in, Your UID may be attached to the crash record so we can verify whether bugs affect specific accounts.

4. Analytics (always collected in release builds)

The App uses Firebase Analytics to record aggregate, non-personally-identifying events such as: game_started, game_finished, ad_shown, theme_toggled, history_opened, stats_opened. We use these to understand which features are used and how the App performs.

5. Advertising data

The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob (interstitial, native and rewarded formats). To serve ads, AdMob collects:

  • Your Android Advertising ID
  • Your IP address
  • Device and operating system information
  • Limited application context (e.g. screen events related to ad placement)

This data is shared with Google as an independent controller for ad delivery, frequency capping, and ad measurement. You can reset Your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in Your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).

How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and maintain the Service: signing You in, syncing Your game history across devices.
  • To diagnose and fix issues: crash reports and diagnostic data.
  • To understand usage: aggregate analytics.
  • To deliver advertising: AdMob uses device identifiers as described above.
  • To comply with legal obligations when required.

Sharing Your Data

We do not sell Your personal data. We share data only with the following Service Providers, strictly for the purposes stated:

  • Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Crashlytics, Analytics) — processes Your account, game and diagnostic data on our behalf.
  • Google AdMob — receives device identifiers and contextual data for ad serving (acts as an independent data controller).

We may also disclose data when required by law, to protect our legal rights, or in connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, sale of assets).

Data Retention

  • Game data and account data are retained for as long as Your account exists. When You delete Your account or data (see below), they are removed from our Firestore database.
  • Crashlytics records are retained for up to 90 days, after which Google deletes them automatically.
  • Analytics data is retained according to Firebase Analytics' default retention (currently 14 months for user-level data).

Deleting Your Data

You have several options:

  • In-app: open the App → tap the Account icon → choose "Delete data on this device" (clears local history only) or "Delete account" (removes Your cloud backup and signs You out).
  • By email: send a request from the email address associated with Your Google sign-in to [email protected] with the subject "Account Deletion Request — İlçe Bulmaca". Requests are processed within 7 business days.

International Data Transfer

Firebase and AdMob process data on servers operated by Google, which may be located outside Turkey (typically in the European Union or the United States). By using the App, You consent to this transfer. Google is responsible for protecting Your data under its own privacy policies.

Security

All data transfer between the App and Google's servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for general audiences but is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If You are a parent or guardian and become aware that Your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so We can remove it.

Your Rights

Depending on Your jurisdiction, You may have rights to access, correct, port or delete Your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted in-app or via the App's store listing.
