NispetGeo Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how NispetGeo ("the App"), an Android world geography quiz developed by Nispet Engineering, handles personal data. By using NispetGeo you agree to the practices described here.

1. Core principle: your data stays on your device

NispetGeo is a fully offline quiz. All gameplay — questions about capitals, flags and continents — runs entirely on your device from a bundled dataset. Your progress and preferences are never uploaded, transmitted or stored on our servers or any third party's servers.

  • No account or sign-in is required to use the App.
  • We operate no backend servers and have no access to your usage.
  • Your scores, streaks, achievements, daily-challenge state and settings are kept only in your device's local storage and are removed when you uninstall the App.

2. Personal data the App collects

NispetGeo itself does not collect personal data. The App does not collect, associate or transmit your name, email address, phone number, precise (GPS) location, contacts, file names or media content.

3. Permissions and why they are used

The App requests only the minimum permission needed for its features:

  • Internet / network access: subject to your consent, to serve ads and to send anonymous diagnostics and usage analytics. The quiz itself works fully offline.

NispetGeo does not request camera, photos/media, location, contacts or notification permissions.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

NispetGeo shows ads through Google AdMob to fund development. AdMob is a third-party advertising service provided by Google and may process certain data to deliver ads, which can include:

  • Advertising identifier (Advertising ID) and device identifiers,
  • IP address and the approximate (city-level) location derived from it — not precise GPS location,
  • Technical information such as device model, operating system version, language/country,
  • Your interactions with ads (impressions, clicks).

This data is used to deliver relevant ads and, only with your consent, to personalize them. NispetGeo shows ads only at natural breaks (for example after a quiz round) and never uses banner or app-open ads. For details on how Google uses this data:

5. Consent for users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent screen on first launch via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). On that screen you can allow personalized ads or decline and see only non-personalized ads. You can change your consent choice at any time from the "Ad privacy options" entry in the App under Settings → Privacy.

6. Diagnostics and usage analytics

To improve stability and understand which features are used, anonymous technical diagnostics and usage analytics (e.g. crash logs, device model, OS version, language/country, anonymous feature-usage counters such as screen views and rounds played) may be processed through Google Firebase / Google Analytics. This data is anonymous, is not linked to your identity, and contains no personal information. It is gated on your consent and can be turned off in the App under Settings → Privacy.

7. Children's privacy

NispetGeo is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with the relevant service providers (Google AdMob, Google Play Services and Google Firebase / Analytics) for the advertising and diagnostics purposes described above. We do not share data with any other third parties.

9. International data transfers

As part of advertising and technical services, Google may process data on servers in various countries, including the United States. Such transfers take place under Google's appropriate legal safeguards.

10. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR / CCPA / KVKK), you may have the rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You can manage ad-personalization preferences through:

  • The in-App "Ad privacy options" (Settings → Privacy, for European users),
  • Resetting your advertising identifier or turning off personalization in your device settings,
  • Google Ads Settings: https://adssettings.google.com

You can delete all on-device data at any time — see our Account & Data Deletion page. To exercise your rights, contact us using the address below.

11. Data security

Because your progress is processed on your device and is never transmitted, content privacy is protected to the highest degree. Advertising and diagnostics data are processed under the security standards of the relevant service providers.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, the "Last updated" date on this page will be revised. Continued use of the App means you accept the current policy.
